About Us

Founded in 2001 as Cayo Cable Vision, Central Tv & Internet only serviced San Ignacio Town, Santa Elena and Esperenza Village. Channels ranged from 2 to 65. In 2002 service was expanded to Central Farm and Georgeville. In 2007 we conducted major upgrade on our network, incorporating fiber network in our already existing copper network and replacing old hardware with new ones. This opened our network to provide up to 125 channels including Digital and HD channels. This also gave way to us being able to provide High-Speed Internet through our network. By 2009 we expanded our services all the way to Belize City covering most villages along the way.

In 2010 we changed our name to Central Cable Vision with branches in Belize City, Belmopan City & San Ignacio. Digital and HD channels were available to customers across the branches via Set Top Boxes. In September 2012 there was the introduction of DiBo (Digital Boss), a digital recording system (DVR). In 2013 we decided to incorporate our internet service in our name and became Central Tv & Internet. In September 2014 we introduced MITV (Mobile Internet Television)- an app that works with most android & apple devices.

In 2015 we expanded our offices to Benque Viejo and opened our own channel network in 2016, The National Channel (TNC 10). In 2017 we launched our new DVR and our Headend headquarters which enables us to deliver higher speeds to a modem, up to 100 Mbps. As we continue to migrate to a full digital tv system, this will enable us to offer higher speeds to our customers as we free up more bandwidth on our network.

Central TV & Internet continues to strive in bringing you, our customers, superior quality Cable and Internet services. We thank you for your continued support.
